About Me

Ann: I left the corporate world a couple of decades ago to embark on an artistic journey. Local classes led to attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and then to a mentorship with Margaret Carter Baumgaertner in portraiture. I love sharing what I've learned along the way with my students at Mainstreet in Lake Zurich, as well as creating portraits and daily paintings. My life is full of art now, and I haven't missed those days in the office!
